more than a bike shop

77 Cycles is built around honest advice, expert workmanship and a genuine understanding of what riders need from their bikes.

Built from a passion for doing things properly.

77 Cycles began as 77 Suspension—a specialist workshop built on reputation, attention to detail and a genuine passion for mountain bikes.

As more riders trusted us with their bikes, it became clear that they wanted more than suspension servicing alone. They wanted a workshop they could rely on for everything from routine maintenance and repairs to expert advice, quality components and complete bike builds.

That naturally led to the next step.

Today, 77 Cycles combines a professional workshop with a carefully selected retail store, bringing together servicing, repairs, bikes, parts, clothing and accessories under one roof.

Although the name has changed, the philosophy hasn't. The same care, workmanship and attention to detail that built the reputation of 77 Suspension remains at the heart of everything we do today.

MEET STUART

For Stuart, working on bikes has never just been a job—it's been a lifelong passion.

As a time-served mechanic with years of experience working on mountain bikes, suspension systems and high-performance builds, he has earned a reputation for taking pride in every bike that enters the workshop.

Away from the bench, Stuart remains an active rider and racer within Scotland's mountain biking community. He understands the demands riders place on their bikes because he places those same demands on his own.

That real-world experience shapes every recommendation he makes.

Whether you're preparing for a race, heading to your local trail centre or simply want your bike running as it should, you'll receive honest advice based on what genuinely suits your riding—not what happens to be the most expensive option.

Every bike is assessed individually, every repair is completed with care, and every customer receives the same level of attention, whether they're visiting for a puncture repair or a full custom build.

WORK WE’RE PROUD TO PUT OUR NAME TO

There are no shortcuts in our workshop.

We believe every bike deserves the same care and attention we'd expect if it were our own.

That means taking the time to diagnose problems properly, explaining our recommendations clearly and never carrying out additional work without your approval.

We're not interested in selling parts you don't need or rushing bikes through the workshop to meet a number.

Our goal is simple: every bike should leave the workshop safe, reliable and ready to ride with confidence.

If something isn't right, we'll tell you.

If something can wait, we'll tell you that too.

Because earning your trust is far more important than making a quick sale.
